2022.01.25 17:21 Belle293 I tested positive January 6th, and recovered, but my family is on day 11 of having it and I'm afraid they are not getting better.
So, this is a long story. Essentially, my boyfriend tested positive January 4, he gave it to me and I tested positive January 6th. I recovered, he recovered, his unvaxxed family recovered, and despite taking all measures I could after finding out (I double masked, cleaned the bathroom, tried to stay in my room for a week), my family got it. I have been vaccinated and boosted, but my family has not (I begged them, for this entire year, but my mom was anti vax because she thought vaccines caused my sister's ASD-literally, y'all, I tried everything to convince them. I told my mom about Andrew Wakefield, all the fucking things. I'm working on my master's in this shit for God sakes but nothing helped. I could not convince her to get it.) I have been worried that they would catch it because my sister is overweight, my mom has awful health, (she has had pneumonia for six months that I have begged, cried, scheduled five different appointments to get her to go to, and rescheduled internships to try to force her to go, and I cannot force her to go- she cancels them and refuses). Plus they are all unvaxxed.
Well, my mom, my sister, and her boyfriend all have had Omicron since January 15th when they tested positive. I have been taking care of them, cooking dinner, handling bills when needed, working prn, doing my internship 20 hours a week, and all while juggling full time grad school. I'm concerned they're not getting better. They are all harcore still coughing. Their oxygen is fine and no one runs temps except for my sis which are low-grade. I'm just worried and I want someone who is unvaccinated to tell me how long it took for them to get better because I'm just pouring from an empty cup right now, and super angry at myself, kinda low-key angry at my boyfriend, and really worried about them. Also they have no health insurance. Also, I'm super frustrated because I feel like this could've been so much better if they were vaccinated but at this point I have done all I can do.
I'm sorry, there's not too much of a point of this post, I guess I'm just venting and I want someone to vent to.

2022.01.25 17:21 Icy_Egg9244 5 Powerful Ways To Work Smarter Not Harder.
I’d appreciate to share with 5 powerful, and simple tools that you can implement now to work smarter not harder. A lot of people believe that only way to make it through life is working harder than others. Totally wrong. The successful people know deeply the importance of working smarter, by leveraging other tools, to get the same amount of results with the least amount of effort which kind of dentition of working smarter. The most ideal approach to be progressively successful at work is to concentrate on the main task at hand. Have you at any point truly needed to complete something, however for unknown reasons, you discover any motivation to stay away from it whatsoever expenses? I think this is something that we have all accomplished sooner or later in our lives. Research demonstrates that the issue is that our minds are modified to linger, and be lazy. We as a whole will in general battle with assignments that guarantee future upside as a byproduct of endeavors we take now. To put it plainly, it’s simpler for your brain to process concrete versus conceptual things. This is not the slightest bit intended to be a reason for why you can’t complete things. Being beneficial is a decision, much the same as dawdling is. So, let’s delve into the 5 tips to work smarter not harder, to start be more efficient, and effective. ## 5 Powerful Ways To Work Smarter Not Harder #### 1.Leverage The first principle to work smarter not harder is called leverage. One the stubborn way to work harder, and getting scrips, or any of it at all, is to go things about your own. BIG factual mistakes leading to disaster. We are here to work, and to be together to build a great world, and that smartest thing to do in your life. We should leverage each other. The person who locks himself in his little ego, and claim that doesn’t need help will always any results, but more so, is more likely to fail. Having an open mind is the key. For example, if you want to start a YouTube channel, what most people do? They start searching in the FREE Taking hours, and hours of their times, being all over the place, confused, and guess what at end? Tiny results. That the sloppy way of working. A smart person on the other hand, will leverage other people’s experiences, by buying a step by step course, or asking for coaching, to point out the right direction, avoiding pitfalls, saving years, and making enormous results. That’s working SMART. #### 2.Start with the difficult, and most important task first. The second thing you would do to work smarter not harder is to begin the hardest task. Here’s why: You see, the only thing that is hindering us from getting to our goals is procrastination. Building momentum is a muscle like any muscle in your body. When you start with a difficult task, this muscle will reinforce itself, as time goes on, your ability to kick your ass off will become easier, and from that, results will be attained much faster. It’s work, this is how life works. Also know that we just have such a great amount of time in one day. In the event that you believe that you will almost certainly achieve each and every thing on your monstrous plan for the day, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. This is for what reason I’m a major devotee to concentrating my time on the most significant assignment first. Sometimes we get confused, we have some much tasks to complete throughout the day. One tips for you, is to organize them. Probably you’re asking how can I do it. The solution is Eisenhower Box. Eisenhower Box is one of the best productivity tools that will help to structure your task In order of priority, and urgency, so you can be able to save time, and energy. 3.Be More Mindful With regards to completing things, one of the greatest difficulties that individuals face is having the option to concentrate on the job needing to be done. The brain is continually meandering, which implies that it’s anything but difficult to get occupied. Stalling benefits from this state. So as to be productive, individuals expect that they must be always accomplishing and doing. The emphasis is dependably on the following thing that they have to do, or the following spot that they should be. Accordingly, they are never completely right now. #### 4.Say No Multitasking Our brain’s marvelous. A lot of people think can do anything with it. Yes there’s some kind truth to that, but when it comes to multitasking, it’s a bad server. Our focus is severely limited, and when we try to focus on different tasks, you know what happens: Our attention go all over the place, we become agitated, confused, and nothing is done at the end. To get things done quickly, effectively, do one thing at one, then move on to the other one, and so forth. #### 5.Manage and relief stress. Since stress can cause physical, enthusiastic, and conduct issues – which can affect your well being, vitality, prosperity, and mental sharpness – it’s nothing unexpected that pressure frustrates your work execution. Here are some simple things that you can do to relief stress, and rejuvenate yourself: * reading a good book. * spending time with friends or family, * Go for a walk. * Spend time on a creative hobby.

2022.01.25 17:21 LeviathanEXE Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but how big of a difference is there between a 55" TV and a 70" TV from about 15 feet away?
Want to upgrade my 55" TV to either a 65" or a 70". At first I was thinking 75" but decided that'd be overkill.
Watching shows and movies is usually fine on the 55" from pretty far away, the issues is mainly with video games, especially anything that's really text-heavy. Even when I sit in a chair that's only about 6 feet away, I somtimes struggle to read smaller text on the screen. My vision was tested recently and checked out fine.
Do you think a 65" would be a noticeable improvement, or should I go with a 70"?

2022.01.25 17:21 No-Cricket4577 Advice wanted
Hey so I’ve recently decided that I want a bodysuit. I say recently I always wanted one when I was younger but I decided to go down a more trad route with my tattoos. My most recent one left a lot to be desired and when I worked out how much I spent I realised I could be in a decent place had I just started with irezumi when I wanted to. Anyway now I plan on getting everything covered or lasered in order to start my suit, but I’m struggling to decide on an artist. I’ve looked at a few on the Recc’s list and will contact them, however one artist from a studio near me really sticks out. He’s got some great back pieces (imo) but he’s never done a full bodysuit. He’s really keen to do it and we’ve had some great conversations up to this point about what could be done, but he also says he understands my doubts about being the first. He’s not traditional which was my preference but I can’t lie when I see his work it proper gives me a buzz, great clean work in my eyes. Shall I trust him to do it or would I be better to seek out someone more experienced? I will be starting with a back piece and am U.K. based. Cheers!

2022.01.25 17:21 MilfSnow Stress & Arbejde hjemmefra

2022.01.25 17:21 DDeadly2023 Clockwork Angel 1st Readthrough Thoughts (Not as many spoilers as the City of Glass post, but still spoilers!)
We interrupt this program to annoy you and make things generally irritating.
It's been a hot minute since I've posted one of these because in between back problems and work craziness, I haven't been able to sit back and read. Eleven days since City of Glass? No, thanks. But wow, once I was able to sink my teeth in, this one pulled me in by a hook and would not let go.
I'm also glad to have finished this on my birthday. I'm now 29.
I have my commentary as usual, but I have to say that Clockwork Angel is a fantastic beginning to The Infernal Devices. The setting, the characters, the writing flow; there was honestly little to criticize compared to the charming campiness that City of Bones provided. There's a certain matureness here that TMI does not have(and I'm not saying that as a bad thing), and while it did have its comedic moments, too, that makes for a nice change of pace. 17-year-olds at the time would act more like adults and it reflects here very well.
Mortmain being the twist villain at the end with Nate as his acolyte was something that I did not expect, versus, say, Sebastian in CoG being immediately suspicious to me. It was a very good twist, and it made me kick myself like Charlotte did because the answer was right there and I didn't see it. Considering how these books are, or at least how TMI is written, you would expect a vampire to pull the strings, cause an uprising, blame it on the Shadowhunters and that's what caused their rift later on down the line. But seeing Charlotte and Henry make a mistake on such a scale that it might affect future generations? It makes them more human, and accepting that responsibility makes them more complex. It's so refreshing seeing humble Nephilim, especially since so many of them act untouchable. It's also refreshing seeing the servants, who would normally be overlooked in a lot of stories, each be given a time to shine.
I wish I had brought Clockwork Prince with me today because I want to read more, dammit, but this time will be good to reflect on what's to come. Hopefully my next post won't be so late!
For now, though, on with the commentary! Let's discuss in the comments!
-Ah, good old Herondales. Always cocky as hell with a heart of gold.
-She's disappointed by England being gray and rainy? But that IS England a fair majority of the time!! And Victorian England, no less. LIES, Nate. LIIIIIIES.
-The Dark Sisters are very suspicious SIX WEEKS LATER? You're telling me this book starts out with a lengthier timeline than the first three books of TMI??
-That got dark extremely quick. Whoa. I can't imagine how Tessa must feel right now. That's an awesome ability but what a way for it to be found out and used. And at only 17, too.
-MARRIED to a stranger? No thank you.
-Love a good reference from Dante's Inferno.
-Okay I'm immediately wanting to protect Jem. At all costs.
-And Charlotte and Henry are my favorites right now. They are absolutely adorable.
-At first I wasn't very fond of Jessamine, and I'm still not, but then I have to remember how ladies were perceived back in the day. Life as a Shadowhunter certainly isn't for everyone and I can't imagine how jarring it must be from going to one extreme to the other.
-IS NATHANIEL EVEN ALIVE??
-Will and Jem are best boys.
-MAGNUS FUCKIN' BANE AW YES WELCOME TO THIS ERA BABE
-NATHANIEL?!? FREE HIM.
-"I am not a boy. I am Nephilim." What a fucking power move. Wow. Gave me chills there, Will, no joke.
-I love how Will and Jem act around each other much more than I do Alec and Jace. They definitely have a deep connection of brotherhood and you can feel it every step of the way. They're fantastic and they balance out each other SO well.
-Still have no idea what Jem's ailment might be. I'm usually coming up with ideas at this point but right now I am still blind.
-WHY CAN'T TESSA AND JEM HAVE A NICE LITTLE EVENING STROLL? WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE RUINED BY DE QUINCY'S STEAMPUNK POSSE?
-...my heart is breaking for Jem. Thanks, CC. GEEZ.
-Well, shit. Time to stop an uprising. Aaaaand the two best boys can't go. Dammit.
-OH, GREAT. Both of the Dark Sisters are back. This should be fun. I have a bad feeling about all of this.
-Aaaaand as soon as Will and Jem leave they get attacked. Of course. Fuckkkkk. HEY. JESSAMINE. I KNOW YOU HATE THIS LIFE BUT DO SOMETHING BESIDES WOOING NATE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.
-...so De Quincy isn't the Magister and this next chapter title is '30 Pieces of Silver'. But who's playing Judas? I'm starting to get an idea and I do NOT like it.
-THANK YOU JESSIE. WELCOME TO THE PARTY YOU BADASS BITCH. <3
-SHIT. MORTMAIN. NATHANIEL.
-Okay, that was a fantastic burn, Jessie. I might just love you now.
-TESSA YOU BRILLIANT THING YOU OH MY GOD.
-Will, why are you visiting Magnus? Besides being his basis for his future Malec type?? I HAVE QUESTIONS.

2022.01.25 17:21 old-ugly-retired If you have more time than money
I just got a full dental exam with x-rays at a dental school up in Nashville. 45 minute drive up, 3 hours in the chair, 45 minutes back. Treatment time is extended because you are in a school and after you student/hygienist does her thing teacher comes and checks her work, which is longer because teacher has student watch and even hold instruments while working. Very through, very gentle, and a fraction of what I would have paid at my old dentist in NJ. I have had some emergency work and a cleaning done here in town, prices are about the same as up North.
